The Decision on Cemetery Management ("Official Gazette of the Municipality of Tribunj", No. 06/19 and 11/19) established that there are three cemeteries in the area of ​​the Municipality of Tribunj, namely the cemetery on the hill of St. Nicholas, the cemetery in front of the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Vrtli and the cemetery "Gaj", and their management is entrusted to the company Mjesno poduzeće d.o.o. (Cemetery Management). Burials are only allowed at the cemetery "Gaj".

Cemetery management includes the allocation of burial sites, landscaping, reconstruction and maintenance of the cemetery. Cemeteries are managed with the care of a good master, ensuring the landscaping and maintenance of the cemetery in a way that does not violate the reverence for the deceased, all in accordance with the Cemetery Management and Maintenance Program.

The cemetery administration:

prescribes the rules of conduct in cemeteries in the area of ​​the Municipality of Tribunj, as well as that the act on the same should be displayed in a visible place in the cemetery, based on the request of the party, issues a Decision on the allocation of a grave site for use, determines the amount of the fee for the allocation of a grave site for use, as well as the amount of the annual grave maintenance fee, with the prior consent of the Municipal Mayor, must keep a grave register and a register of deceased persons with all the data specified in the provisions of the Cemeteries Act, must take the necessary measures in a timely manner to ensure burial places for interested persons, and if this is not possible due to the limited space in the cemetery, that other appropriate measures will be taken as soon as possible for the reconstruction, or expansion of the existing or construction of a new cemetery.

In addition to the administrative part of managing the cemetery and grave records, ongoing tasks at the cemetery are carried out as part of the regular activities of the employees, and include:

cleaning and maintenance of the area in front of the cemetery entrance and the area around the chapel and morgue, cleaning the chapel and morgue before organized funerals, maintenance of green areas around the morgue, including planned planting of flowers in each row, regular mowing and cleaning of the rows between the graves, before major holidays and anniversaries and after the funeral.

In 2018, a total of 27 urn niches were built, while the last construction of graves was in 2023, when 31 (thirty-one) graves were built, of which 10 (ten) graves with four shelves and 21 (twenty-one) graves with two shelves.

At this time there are no vacant graves for sale, only niches for urns.

The Mjesno poduzeće d.o.o. at the cemetery "Gaj" provides refrigerator services and use of the chapel for a fee.
